Dale Winburn, Woodturner

Turning Cherry Bowl For most of my adult life I have enjoyed wood working and especially wood turning.  When I turned by first bowl in the early 1980's using my old 9 inch South Bend metal turning lathe, I was smitten.

Now, after more years than I care to count as a computer programmer and consultant, I retired in January 2010.  My wife Millie of more than 50 years and I plan to do some traveling and I plan to devote much more time to my wood turning.

Millie passed away in 2022, however, I'm still woodturning and have gotten into Ornamental Turning with Rose Engine Lathes and related machinery.

I am essentially a self-taught woodturner, I've never taken a class and I spend many hours in my workshop perfecting my techniques.
